Jax is just about the sweetest cat you’ll ever meet. This affectionate boy is happiest when he’s curled up in your lap, soaking up snuggles and giving plenty of love in return. He’s friendly, gentle, and truly thrives on being close to his people.
Jax has a unique look as he’s missing the tips of his ears and tail due to frostbite, but it only adds to his charm and tells part of his story. What hasn’t been damaged is his big heart. If you’re looking for a devoted lap companion who will happily spend his days by your side, Jax is ready to fill that role.
Jax is currently staying at PetSmart West in Madison.
Jax has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can complete the online adoption application or you can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
