Meet Mango!
- Adult (exact age unknown)
- Spayed female
- Had a front leg amputated. She does not require treatment.
- No known experience with cats, dogs, or children
Mango is a quiet, gentle girl who may not demand your attention, but once you start petting her (or shake the treat bag!), she’s all in. She truly loves to be loved and happily leans into every bit of affection you offer.
When Mango arrived, she had a severely injured leg, likely from being caught in a leg-hold trap. Even through the pain and uncertainty, she remained incredibly sweet. Thanks to our medical team, her leg was amputated and she’s now able to live a comfortable, pain-free life. She doesn’t require ongoing treatment, but her new family should make sure her food, water, and litter box are easily accessible without stairs. Keeping her at a healthy weight will also be important to protect her remaining joints and prevent future strain.
Mango has already shown just how resilient and loving she is. In a caring home that looks out for her needs, she’ll be a devoted, grateful companion who proves that three legs are more than enough for a full, happy life.
Mango has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.
