Buggy is the sweetest adventurer you’ll ever meet! He walks beautifully on leash, staying right by your side like a true gentleman. Friendly with both people and other dogs, he greets everyone with a happy tail wag and bright, curious eyes—especially his one stunning blue eye that makes him extra unforgettable. Buggy absolutely loves going on adventures, whether it’s a stroll through the neighborhood or exploring a new trail, and he can’t resist stopping to sniff all the exciting new smells along the way. With his loving personality and zest for discovery, Buggy makes every outing a joyful experience.
The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
Buggy has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. Buggy has tested negative for heartworm.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
