Catherine is a friendly girl with a slightly reserved side at first, but give her a little time and she quickly warms up. Once she’s comfortable, she’s all about attention, happily enjoying pets and joining in on playtime.
She has a playful streak and especially loves chasing after a wand toy, running and jumping until she’s ready to settle in for a cozy nap nearby. Catherine has done well with other cats and would make a lovely companion for a patient adopter who will give her the time she needs to shine.
Catherine has been waiting a while to find her family so her adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take her home!
Catherine has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can complete the online adoption application or you can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
