Meet Katie!
- 6 years old (estimated)
- Spayed female
- Looking for a home without children
- No known experience with cats or dogs
Katie is a big girl with an even bigger personality. She’s social, affectionate, and always happy to see people, eagerly greeting visitors at the door in hopes of some attention. One of her favorite places to be is curled up in your lap, and she has an especially endearing habit of suckling on your shirt while she relaxes and enjoys being close.
Katie loves pets and affection, but she’s also a cat who knows her limits and isn’t shy about communicating them. When her tail starts twitching, she’s letting you know she’s ready for a break, and if her signals are missed, she may give a swat or nip to make sure her message gets across. She’s looking for someone who appreciates a cat with clear boundaries and understands that respecting her space helps her feel comfortable and secure.
Because of this, Katie would do best in a home without young children who may have trouble recognizing when she needs some time to herself. For the adopter who understands her communication style and gives her room to set the pace, Katie will be a sweet, quirky lap cat and a loving companion full of personality and charm.
Katie has been waiting a while to find her family so her adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take her home!
Katie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.
