Meet Mango! This sweet and gentle girl has a heart of gold. Mango is a submissive, easygoing companion who loves spending time relaxing outdoors, soaking up the fresh air and sunshine. One of her most endearing habits is slowly crawling toward you when she wants attention, making it impossible not to fall in love with her. Mango has a calm, loving nature and is as gentle as can be with everyone she meets. She enjoys affection, quiet companionship, and simply being near her people. If you're looking for a kind-hearted dog with a soft spirit and a lot of love to give, Mango may be the perfect addition to your family.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
Mango has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. Mango has tested negative for heartworm.

You can complete the online adoption application or you can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
