Meet Alfie!
- 2.5 months old
- Neutered male
- Requires a feline playmate in the home
- Not a good match for young children
- No known experience with dogs
- Requires socialization and experience reading cat body language
Alfie is an adorable little guy with endless kitten energy and a playful spirit just waiting to shine. While he's still learning that people can be trusted, he's making progress every day and has all the potential to become a wonderful companion with a patient adopter by his side.
Alfie is looking for a home with a confident, friendly feline playmate who genuinely enjoys having another cat around. A social adult cat or confident young cat will help him feel secure, teach him that people are safe, and give him a playmate to burn off all that kitten energy.
Because Alfie is under-socialized, he'll need an adopter who is committed to helping him build confidence. His socialization should begin in a small, quiet room where he can feel safe, with multiple short socialization sessions every day for several weeks. This process takes time, consistency, and patience, but it's incredibly important. Without that investment, kittens like Alfie can grow into adults who spend their lives hiding instead of becoming the playful, affectionate companions they're meant to be. For that reason, Alfie is looking for a home without young children where his family can focus on helping him succeed.

Alfie has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.
