New situations can make Garfield a little nervous at first, but he doesn’t let that hold him back for long. Once he has a chance to settle in, his confident, engaging personality shines through, and he’s ready to enjoy attention and spend time with his people.
With his playful curiosity and friendly nature, Garfield will make a fun, entertaining companion for a lucky adopter ready to welcome him home.
Garfield has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can complete the online adoption application or you can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
