Dalven is a sweet, friendly, and smart husky mix who is sure to win you over with his charming personality. Like many husky mixes, he isn't shy about using his voice to let you know exactly what he's thinking, adding plenty of character and entertainment to your day. Dalven already knows sit and shake, loves playing fetch, and enjoys going for walks where he can stretch his legs and explore the world around him. With his affectionate nature, playful spirit, and clever mind, Dalven is ready to find a forever home that will appreciate all the love and personality he has to offer.
The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
Dalven has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. Dalven has tested negative for heartworm.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can complete the online adoption application or you can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
