Philomena’s Sweet Recovery Bake Sale

Stop by the shelter on Friday, February 16th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM for a bake sale! Shelter staff and volunteers will be whipping up their favorite treats to help us raise funds for the medical care of sweet girl named Philomena.

Philomena came into the shelter unable to walk, dehydrated, and starving. Philomena is a fully grown cat, estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old, but weighs just 3.3 lbs—approximately the weight of the average 3-month-old kitten. Despite her challenges, Philomena is a fighter, and we’re hopeful that with a steady, nutritious diet and lots of TLC, she’ll recover, regain the use of her legs, and find a loving home where she’ll be cherished for the rest of her days.
