How to Help Your Fearful Dog

October 25, 2015 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm

Free

Does your dog run for cover every time it storms? Is he petrified of the vacuum cleaner? It’s pretty sad to see our canine companions so scared, and to make matters worse, we often are at a loss on how to help them understand that they’re safe. If this sounds like you and your dog, we invite you to join the HSJC and Mittsy Voiles, B.A., CPDT-KA, Behavorist for the Lake Mills Veterinary Clinic, for a workshop on why dogs develop these fears and how to help your dog get past them.

The workshop will be held on Sunday, October 25th, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm in the shelter’s Community Education Room. This workshop is free but attendees are encouraged to bring an item from the shelter’s wish list.

Please note that this workshop is for humans only.
