Third Annual Furry Friends 5K Run/Walk: Register Now!

Early packet pick up is strongly encouraged for all participants!

Race bags and t-shirts can be picked up at the shelter (W6127 Kiesling Rd, Jefferson) on Friday, May 20th, from 2-6 pm.

Join the race to help homeless pets at the Humane Society of Jefferson County’s Third Annual Furry Friends 5K Run/Walk. This family-and dog-friendly event will take place on Saturday, May 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the south end of the Jefferson County Fair Park (enter at Gate 1).

Online registration is now closed, but we are still accepting in-person registrations! You can stop by the shelter during regular business hours (1pm – 6pm, Monday through Saturday) or during the Early Packet Pick Up on Friday, May 20th, from 2pm – 6pm. Registrations will also be accepted the morning of the event from 7:30 am – 8:30 am at the Jefferson County Fair Park.

There is a $35 fee for adults (ages 14 and older) and a $25 fee for children (school-age to age 13). Registering early helps the HSJC
prepare for this event and also guarantees participants a race day t-shirt and a swag bag full of goodies from our awesome sponsors.

All proceeds from the Furry Friends 5K will benefit the Humane Society of Jefferson County.
