Holiday Wish List Drive
Animal rescue organizations are currently grappling with a nationwide crisis. Animals are coming into shelters in record numbers, and adoptions and transfers to other organizations are slowing across the country. Although the HSJC isn’t a large shelter, we’re working tirelessly to save lives. This year alone, we’ve taken in over 1,100 animals from our community and other shelters that are beyond capacity. Doggie Drive Thru at Badger Bank
Our friends at Badger Bank will be hosting their first Doggie Drive Thru to benefit the shelter on March 16th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Grab your pooch and stop by any of their four locations (Cambridge, Fort Atkinson, Jefferson, and Johnson Creek) with a donation from our wish list or a monetary donation and your pup will receive a gift from Badger Bank! Can’t make it? Badger Bank will also being accepting donations all through March!

Pet Supplies Plus First Responder Appreciation
join us at Pet Supplies Plus – Whitewater, WI on Sunday, April 7th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM for a First Responder Appreciation event. The shelter will be there with adoptable animals and the afternoon will include: K9 Demonstrations from the LettsewK9 Foundation Donation Drive to benefit LettsewK9 & Humane Society of Jefferson County Music & Vendors Freebies First Responders are highly encouraged to stop by for some goodies and the event is open to all, including dogs!
