HSJC at Jefferson Public Library
Kids are invited to the Jefferson Public Library at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 16, to meet animals from the Humane Society of Jefferson County and learn about responsible pet ownership and compassion for animals. There is no cost to attend but the Jefferson Public Library will be hosting a donation drive for items from the HSJC wish list (view wish list at https://hsjc-wis.com/donate/wishlist/).
2024 Annual Board Meeting

Furry Friends 5k Early Packet Pick Up
Early packet pick up is strongly encouraged for our Furry Friends 5k participants! Stop by the shelter on Friday, May 17th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM to pick up your race packet and t-shirt. Haven’t registered yet? You can do that during the packet pick-up, too (t-shirts not guaranteed)! Blood Drive
Join the HSJC in saving lives! We will be hosting a (human) blood drive in partnership with Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin on Saturday, June 8th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the shelter’s Community Education Room. Donors will have a chance to win a cruise! Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome provided there are open spots in the schedule. Click here to reserve your spot!

Fort Atkinson Fiesta
Come visit us at the Fort Atkinson Fiesta on September 14th from noon to 4 PM at Jones Park in Fort Atkinson! Join HSJC in Saving Lives at Our Upcoming Blood Drive! We’re partnering with the Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin to host a human blood drive on Friday, November 15th, from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the shelter. Versiti’s partner hospitals in our area continue to face critical blood shortages, with some blood types available for less than a day’s supply—posing serious risks for local patients in need.
