Elmer is a calm, confident, and social boy who prefers to keep life nice and low-key. He came to the shelter because changes in his home were stressful for him, so he's looking for a stable, peaceful environment where he can settle in and relax. He's content to do his own thing, but he's always happy to soak up pets and affection when you invite him over.

Elmer previously lived with other cats and did well with them, mostly keeping to himself. He also lived with children ages 7 and older and enjoyed getting pets from them. A calm, low-key home would be a great fit for this sweet, easygoing guy, and in return he'll be a quiet and loving companion.
