Mr. Whiskers is a strikingly handsome cat with a very dark seal point coat and an impressive 18-pound frame! He's a friendly, affectionate boy who can be a little unsure in new situations, but once he knows he's safe, his sweet personality shines. He lost his home when his elderly owner could no longer care for him, and the move has left him feeling a little confused. He tends to hide, but just sit down with him and he'll come right out for attention before settling happily into your lap. He loves being petted and brushed, although he'll sometimes give a gentle nip when he's had enough and needs a break. Mr. Whiskers previously lived with other cats and did well, and he also did well with visiting children. He's carrying a few extra pounds, so a healthy diet and some encouragement to stay active would be good for him. This big, sweet boy is ready to find a loving home where he can feel safe, comfortable, and loved again.
