About Fredi

· Requires a home with a feline playmate
· Looking for a home without young children
· No known experience with dogs
· Needs help learning to trust

Fredi is a fun-loving, endlessly energetic kitten who is still figuring out that people can be good friends. He arrived at the shelter feeling scared of people, but he's been slowly learning to trust with patient, gentle interaction. He's got plenty of playful energy just waiting to shine once he feels safe and comfortable.

Fredi will need an adopter who is committed to helping him build confidence and feel secure in his new home. He should start out in a small room, such as a bathroom, where he can adjust without being overwhelmed. Several short socialization sessions each day for a few weeks will give him the consistent, positive experiences he needs to become more comfortable with people.

Fredi's new family will need to be patient and understand that he won't be ready to be picked up or played with right away. For that reason, he's looking for a home without young children who may have difficulty giving him the time and space he needs. He'll also need a feline playmate who can help him gain confidence, keep him company, and give him an appropriate outlet for all that playful kitten energy. Having a kitty friend will also help Fredi continue learning good manners. With the right support, this playful little guy has so much potential to blossom.
