Roxi is an endlessly playful and energetic kitten who is learning to feel comfortable around people. She came into the shelter afraid of people, but she's been making progress with gentle, patient interaction and is slowly discovering that people can be trusted. Once she feels safe, Roxi has plenty of playful energy and personality to share!

Roxi will need an adopter who is prepared to take things slowly and help her build confidence in her new home. She should begin in a small room, such as a bathroom, where she can settle in and get used to her new surroundings. Several short socialization sessions each day over the first few weeks will help her gradually become more comfortable with people and learn that she is safe.

Because Roxi needs gentle guidance and time to trust, she's looking for a home without young children who may not understand that she can't be picked up and played with right away. She'll also need a feline playmate who can help her feel more confident, provide companionship, and give her an appropriate outlet for all that kitten energy. A kitty friend will also help her continue learning good manners as she grows. With patience, consistency, and a little time, Roxi is ready to discover how wonderful having a home can be.
