Phoenix was found wrapped in an air mattress, weighing only 20 lbs. He’s estimated to be around a year old, but his frail body tells the story of severe, long-term neglect. Despite everything he’s endured, Phoenix is incredibly sweet and has become his foster mom’s loyal shadow — he loves nothing more than curling up in her lap or staying close by her side.
He’s now on prescription food, eating several small meals a day, and receiving careful monitoring as he begins his long road to recovery.
