Meet Charlene!
I'm a super sweet lady with a real passion for people. I have a very friendly personality and really love being held and petted. I'm playful, social, and never met a person I didn't like. I'm not crazy about other cats, but I could "live and let live" with other felines who don't pester or bully me. I'll be purrfect for someone who wants a very lovey dovey companion. I'm really an all-around gem, so it's a mystery why I haven't been adopted yet. Maybe I'm just waiting for YOU!

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
