Front Office Assistant
(Part Time)
Humane Society of Jefferson County is a non-profit animal shelter in Jefferson, WI. As a vital part of our community, our goal is to help find forever homes for over 1,000 animals a year!
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer support by greeting and assisting visitors
- Serve as a personal assistant to the management team, handling scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative tasks
- Transcribe and file important documents and correspondence
- Coordinate adoptions and ensure timely completion
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including ordering supplies and maintaining office equipment
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Expected hours: 16-24 hours per week
Compensation: $14-$16 per hour
