Hi, I'm Porter!

I'm a 3 year old neutered male black with white Border Collie / Mix.

Age: Approximately 3 1/2 years

Weight: 52 lbs

My Story: I'm a young border collie type mix who lost my home when my people had a baby. I'm friendly, love attention, and enjoy being petted and praised. My previous owner said that I'm house trained, enjoy car rides, and am good about having my nails trimmed. I was crated for six hours a day and did fine if the house was quiet. (Like many dogs, I'm frightened of fireworks and super loud noises.) I have a good amount of energy so I'll need daily exercise and lots of play time. I can be dominant with other dogs but have been good with cats. I'd love to go to obedience classes so I can learn excellent manners and show you how smart I am. :)  If you're searching for a devoted companion and can give me the time, attention, and love that I crave, we could be a great match!

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
My adoption fee is $200.00.
I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
