I'm a super sweet senior with a gentle and loving personality. I adore people, am thrilled about being petted, and love to give and receive affection. I was brought in as an "owner requested euthanasia" because my health wasn't good. However, my owners never took me to a vet so the shelter got permission to address my health issues and hopefully find me a good home. Well, guess what? It turns out I'm diabetic and it's treatable with insulin! Diabetic cats can live very happy lives and make wonderful companions (just like non-diabetic cats!). I'm looking for an adopter who will appreciate my sweet companionship. In addition to receiving all of my love, my adopter will also get two free insulin pens, which should last quite a while. If you agree that animals who aren't "perfect" still deserve to be loved, I hope you'll come in to meet me!
