Hi, I'm Muddy!
I'm a 2 year old neutered male black and white Domestic Short Hair.
I'm a playful and active young boy who likes to keep busy. I hate being confined so I was cranky when I was in a cage. However, now that I'm in a community cat room where I have space to roam, I'm really happy and friendly! (I'm currently the only cat in the community room, so the staff doesn't know yet how I get along with other felines.) I'm not shy about expressing myself and if I want attention and affection, I'll climb right on top of you to get it! Because being confined stresses me out, I'm not approved for young children who might innocently "trap" me in a corner or a small space. I'm so happy in the shelter's community room where I have lots of space, so just think how happy I'll be when I have a whole house to run around in!
I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for Feline Leukemia and been tested for FIV.
If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at email@example.com. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed. Please contact the shelter at 920-674-2048 with any questions.
