Candy and her best pal, Cookie, are looking for a loving home together. They were found as strays and, while they’re safe, warm, and well-fed now, they’re still a bit shy around people. Candy and Cookie will need a patient adopter who understands they require time to build trust and adjust to their new surroundings. They’d do best in an enclosure, like an exercise pen, and resources on rabbit care are available at wisconsinhrs.org. With a little time and tender loving care, Candy and Cookie are sure to become devoted and affectionate friends.
Candy and Cookie have been waiting a while to find their family so their adopter can name their own adoption fee when they take them home!

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
