Hi, I'm Burt!

I'm a 2 year old black with white neutered male.

  • 2 years old (estimated)
  • Neutered male
  • Currently 40 lbs.
  • Sweet and gentle
  • Knows "sit" and walks well on leash
  • Has done well with other dogs
  • No known experience with cats or children
  • Appears housetrained

I arrived at the shelter on an emergency transport to help out after Hurricane Milton, and now I’m ready to find my forever home! I’m a sweet and gentle boy who gets along well with other dogs. I know how to sit, and I seem to be potty trained too. I’m pretty good on a leash, and I love meeting new people—I’m always happy to see you! I’m also treat-motivated, so teaching me new tricks should be a breeze. If you're looking for a loyal and loving best friend, I could be the perfect match for you!

The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

My adoption fee is $250.00.
I have been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and I've received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. I have tested negative for heartworm.
