August is a tenderhearted girl who’s still learning to trust but has shown a sweet, receptive side during playtime. She adores being around her sisters and finds comfort in their presence, which is why she must be adopted with at least one of them. August is particularly responsive to snack bribes, especially when fruit-flavored yogurt is involved. With time and gentle care, she’ll grow into a loving and engaging member of her new family.

If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
