Alannah is a sweet baby rat who was born in foster care as part of a large group of nearly 40 rats. She’s a friendly little girl who may be a bit shy at first, but she’s not nippy and just needs a gentle, patient person to help her build confidence. With love and attention, she’s sure to blossom into a curious and delightful companion. Because rats are highly social animals, Alannah will need to be adopted with at least one of her cagemates so she can continue to thrive with the companionship she needs.

If you are interested in adopting me, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
