Kauai is a gentle, shy guinea pig who is bonded with her two friends, Maui and Lanai, and must be adopted with them. With a little patience, she shows her sweet and curious nature, especially when treats are involved! Kauai will do best in a spacious enclosure where she can explore, snuggle, and grow confident alongside her bonded pals.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
