Does your barn, workshop, or outbuilding need vermin control? Mills is ready to help! He's unsocialized with people, so he's not your typical housecat and has little interest in being pet or held, but he does want a place to call his own.
Working cats are already spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and their adoption fees are waived. We simply ask that you provide food, shelter, and keep an eye on your feline employees to make sure they stay safe and healthy for the rest of their lives.
Mills has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
