Binkie is a gentle cat who’s going through a big transition right now. After losing the only home she’s ever known, she’s feeling shy and unsure in the shelter, but there’s so much more to her than meets the eye. In her previous home, Binkie was a loving, outgoing companion who enjoyed pets, playtime, and relaxing alongside her people.
Binkie shares a close bond with her friend Harper, and they’re looking for a loving home where they can stay together. She has also lived with a dog and did very well with them. With a little patience and time to settle in, Binkie will blossom into a sweet, affectionate companion who will bring warmth and comfort to her new home.
Binkie and Harper are a bonded pair so they have a 2-for-1 adoption fee to help them find a home together!
Binkie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can complete the online adoption application or you can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
