Harper is a sweet cat who’s still adjusting after losing the only home she’s ever known. Right now she’s feeling a bit shy and unsure in the shelter, but her previous owner shared that in a home environment, Harper is outgoing, playful, and very affectionate. She enjoys being pet and spending time with her people, and once she feels comfortable, her personality really shines.
Harper is closely bonded with her friend Binkie, and they’re looking for a loving home where they can stay together. She has also lived with a dog before and did well. With some patience and time to settle in, Harper will blossom into a loving, playful companion who will bring joy and companionship to her new home.
Harper and Binkie are a bonded pair so they have a 2-for-1 adoption fee to help them find a home together!
Harper has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can complete the online adoption application or you can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
