She loves running around outside, stretching her legs and burning off energy, then coming back for her favorite thing—good butt scratches. With her playful spirit and that signature smirk always on her face, Sahara brings fun and personality wherever she goes.
Sahara has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. Sahara has tested negative for heartworm.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can complete the online adoption application or you can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
