Tater Tot is the brave, outgoing half of an adorable duo. Curious and confident, he’s usually the first to check out something new and happily encourages his buddy Shoelace to join him once he decides everything is safe. He loves attention, playtime, and making the most of every moment of kittenhood.
Like any kitten, Tater Tot has endless energy and spends his days wrestling, playing, and having fun before finally settling in for a well-earned cuddle and nap. He and Shoelace are closely bonded and must be adopted together so they can continue growing, playing, and supporting each other.
With his social personality and playful spirit, Tater Tot will be a fun, loving companion who fills his new home with entertainment and affection.
Shoelace and Tater Tot are a bonded pair so they have a 2-for-1½ adoption fee to help them find a home together!
Shoelace and Tater Tot are currently staying at PetSmart West in Madison.
Tater Tot has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can complete the online adoption application or you can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
