Meet Emoji, a friendly and goofy pup with a whole lot of personality! He loves showing off just how fast he can really be, even if he tires himself out pretty quickly. Emoji is a total goofball who enjoys exploring his surroundings and checking out everything the world has to offer. With his fun-loving personality, playful spirit, and silly antics, Emoji is sure to keep you smiling and would love a family to share plenty of adventures and laughs with.
The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
Emoji has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and received routine treatment for internal and external parasites. Emoji has tested negative for heartworm.

If you are interested in adopting, the first step is to submit an adoption application. You can complete the online adoption application or you can download an application from the links below, attach the completed application to an email, and send it to the Humane Society of Jefferson County at [email protected]. Once the application is received, the approval process will take approximately 1-3 business days and you will be contacted as soon as it is completed.
