Furry Friends Kids Camp August Session

| $245Ever wondered what it’s like to work at the Humane Society? Now’s your chance for “HSJC in Training”, our 2026 Furry Friends Kids Camp! We’re excited to host two week-long camps, offering behind-the-scenes access to animal welfare, pet care, and community compassion. Campers will participate in animal-related programs, games, crafts, and activities; they will also have the opportunity to meet a variety of animals from our shelter and our community!

Camp Dates:
- Session 1: July 13 – July 17
- Session 2: August 3 – August 7
Camp Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily
*note: time has been adjusted to better accommodate other extra curriculars and community events
Camp Location: Humane Society of Jefferson County W6127 Kiesling Road Jefferson, WI 53549
Ages: 5–12 years old
Cost: $245 per child; $225 for additional siblings
Campers will receive two camp t-shirts, daily lunches and snacks, and exciting activities!
Registration Deadlines:
- July Camp: Register by July 6
- August Camp: Register by July 27
Important Information: We do our best to accommodate food allergies, but due to the food and snacks we feed our dogs, we cannot guarantee a nut-free facility. We cover a variety of topics, including spay and neuter surgeries and animal death—if you have any questions before camp so that you can best prepare your child, please let us know. If your child requires one-on-one support at school or other group settings, we do require you provide a support person each day.
