Dr. Galen Heyne Rabies Clinic

March 16 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The HSJC will be hosting our semiannual Dr. Galen Heyne Rabies Clinic on Saturday, March 16th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Activity Center at the Jefferson County Fair Park. Please note that this is a different building than previous clinics. Rabies vaccinations will cost $15.00 each, which can be paid by check, cash, or credit card.

All rabies vaccinations will be good for one year unless a rabies certificate is provided as proof of a current rabies vaccination, in which case a three-year vaccine may be given. Rabies tags cannot be accepted as proof of a current rabies vaccination.

All cats must be contained in carriers and all dogs must be on leash.

Thanks to Petco Love we will be offering FREE combo vaccines while supplies last! The vaccines available are:

  • Feline Vaccine: NOBIVAC® FELINE 1-HCP (protects against: Feline Rhinotracheitis Virus, Feline Calicivirus, Feline Panleukopenia Virus)
  • Canine Vaccine: NOBIVAC® CANINE 1-DAPPv (protects against: Canine Distemper Virus, Canine Adenovirus type 1, Canine Adenovirus type 2, Canine Parainfluenza Virus, Canine Parvovirus).

New this year!

Save time by pre-registering for the rabies clinic! Provide us with your pet’s information and payment ahead of time and we’ll have the forms filled out and waiting for you on the day of the clinic. It is not required, but will help make the process faster for all. Please note, if you want a 3-year vaccination for your pet, you must still bring a current rabies certificate, even if you pre-register.

Pre-registration is now closed.
