We’re teaming up with the ASPCA for The Rescue Effect, a nationwide movement to help more animals find loving homes! For two days only, all adoption fees will be waived for pets at the Humane Society of Jefferson County. While adoption fees are waived, donations are always welcome to help us continue caring for animals in need.

Adopting even one animal creates a ripple effect—freeing up space and resources so we can help even more animals in need. When we help one, we help many!

We’ll do our best to process same-day applications, but we can’t guarantee it, so we encourage you to submit your adoption application in advance for pre-approval. Please note that we will be unable to place holds on pets during this event, and this promotion does not apply to animals at our satellite adoption centers.
