Puppy Naming Contest
Mama Minnie has six little bundles of joy (3 females, 3 males) that need names! For $5.00 per name, you can enter your favorite names into our naming contest. Entries close on April 5th and names will be drawn during the livestream of our Slumber Pawty on April 6th. All names are subject to shelter approval. Trivia Night at Mr. Brews
Join us on Monday, April 1st, at 6:00 pm for a “So Wrong It’s Right” themed trivia night at Mr. Brews Taphouse! Enjoy the night’s special menu, beer and wine, with a portion of selected beer sales benefiting the Humane Society of Jefferson County. The cost is $30 per table with a 6 person limit per table. Shelter Slumber Pawty
We’re having a Shelter Slumber Pawty to raise much needed funds for the animals! From noon on Saturday, April 6th, to noon on Sunday, April 7th, HSJC staff, volunteers, and supporters will spend 24 hours eating, sleeping, and playing in a dog kennel or community cat room with their favorite shelter animals. Wine & Bingo at Lewis Station Winery – FULL!
Lewis Station Winery will be hosting a Bingo Night fundraiser for the shelter on Wednesday, April 10th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The cost to play is a $5.00 donation to the shelter, which will be collected on the day of the event. Participants must register online at https://lewis-station-winery.square.site/. Painting with Pets
Join us (and more importantly, adorable animals!) for an afternoon of paint-by-numbers! On Saturday, April 20th the HSJC will host a paint-by-numbers event with painting kits provided by Rhettro Design Co. from Noon to 2pm in the shelter’s Community Education Room. Refreshments will be available and there will be a adorable pets ready to provide you with a cuddling break! Painting kits are $28 each and you can also order kits to go! Furry Friends 5k
Join the race to help homeless pets by participating in the Humane Society of Jefferson County’s 11th Annual Furry Friends 5K. This family-friendly and dog-friendly event will take place on Saturday, May 18th at 9 a.m. at the Jefferson County Fair Park. Hundreds of human participants and their canine companions have taken part in this race, providing our community with a healthy and fun event that gets bigger and better every year. Bingo Night at Stable Rock Winery & Distillery
Stable Rock Winery & Distillery will be hosting a Bingo Night fundraiser for the shelter on Wednesday, May 29th at 6:00 PM. The cost to play is a $5.00 donation to the shelter, which will be collected on the day of the event. Participants must RSVP by calling Holly at Stable Rock at 920-541-3459. Sizzling Saturday at Jones Market
Stop by the Jones Market in Fort Atkinson on Saturday, June 8th from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm where HSJC staff and volunteers will be selling Jones Market brats and more with proceeds going towards the HSJC!

Tyranena Brews & Bingo
Brews & Bingo! is a series of fundraisers hosted by Tyranena Brewing Company to benefit local charities. On Monday, June 17th, this fun event will benefit the HSJC! The games will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at The Fharmacy Public House, 203 N. Main Street, Lake Mills. Bingo cards are $10 each to play for the whole night (with the chance to win many prizes) and Tyranena will donate $1 for every pint served during the event to the cause.
Paint Your Dog in Watercolors
Emily Marie Watercolors will be holding a Paint Your Dog in Watercolors on Wednesday, July 24th, from 6-8 PM at The Vintage Flip in Lake Mills. 10% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the shelter! This 2 hour class is perfect for beginners: She’ll sketch your dog onto your watercolor paper and then guide you through painting your sweet pup step-by-step. At the end of the class, you’ll get to mat or frame your painting. All…
